Titan Fighting Championsip 19 – Bobby Lashley vs. Eddie Sanchez To Headline

Former pro wrestling star Bobby Lashley (6-1) is set to return to mixed martial arts at the end of this month in Kansas, when he takes on fellow heavyweight Eddie ‘The Manic Hispanic’ Sanchez (12-5) in the main event of Titan Fighting Championship 19.
Titan FC 19: Lashley vs. Sanchez is scheduled to take place on July 29 at Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas. The main card will air live on HDNet.
No other matches were announced for the event, but MMAjunkie.com is reporting that Rob “The Rosedale Reaper” Kimmons (23-7) and James “The” Krause (12-3) are also expected to appear on the card.
Lashley had his last fight in March, main eventing the Titan FC 17 event against John Ott. The former pro wrestler would earn a unanimous decision, which allowed him to bounce back from the first loss of his career. Lashley lost by TKO (doctor stoppage) to Chad Griggs at last Augusts Strikeforce Houston event. After the loss, Lashley was taken to hospital on a stretcher for dehydration. He was signed by Titan FC in February.
This bout will mark the first Titan FC appearance for Sanchez, who has fought for the UFC and Bellator in the past. ‘The Manic Hispanic’ has dropped two straight, losing a split decision to Mike Whitehead at a local event in Alberta, Canada in December 2010, and by first round TKO to Neil Grove at Bellator 24 last August. His last win was in May of 2010 at Bellator 20, earning a third round TKO stoppage against Marcus Sursa. Sanchez fought with the UFC from September 2006 to December 2008, amassing a 3-3 record.
