today’s Ultimate Fighting Championship press conference in Calgary,
Alberta, Canada, the promotion is expected to announce a featherweight
title defense for the card by champion José Aldo (21-1).The UFC is expected to announce an upcoming event for the Canadian city with UFC 149 on July 21, 2012 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
News of the announcement was made by Yahoo! Sports reporter Kevin Iole via Twitter (@KevinI) on Tuesday.

If the news proves to true, this will be the second title defense by
Aldo in a Canadian city having had his first bout last April at UFC 129
versus Mark Hominick.Aldo has since gone on to defend his title twice, last October at UFC 136 versus Kenny Florian, and this past January in Brazil at UFC 142 versus Chad Mendes.
