Days Before Event DREAM Adds Openweight Bout Between Ikuhisa Minowa vs. Baru Harn To Sept. 24 Show

Officials with the Japanese based DREAM promotion added an eleventh bout to the promotions upcoming card, just four days before the September 24th date.
Meeting in an open-weight match will be DREAM “Super Hulk” champion Ikuhisa “Minowaman” Minowa (49-32-8) and two time Mongolian wrestling champ, Baru Harn (1-1).
The bout was made official on the promotions webpage DreamOfficial.com on Tuesday.
DREAM.17 will now feature an eleven-bout card and is set to take place this Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event features the opening round of DREAM’s World Bantamweight Grand Prix and will air live on HDNet in North America beginning at 3AM EST (12AM PST).
Minowa has spent much of this year following his pro-wrestling career but has manged two wins in MMA bouts with smaller promotions. This isn’t the first time ‘Minowaman’ has faced a “super heavyweight” fighter, having earned won the DREAM Super Hulk Grand Prix in 2009 by defeating Bob Sapp, Hong Man Choi, and Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou.
Harn has two pro-fights in his career, a unanimous decision win in April 2010 at an Astra event, and a majority decision loss in October 2008 at a DEEP show. There is little else on the Mongolian available.
