Fight Night Entertainment: What's Bad in The Sport

Well here we are again with the same installment of a different time with the pathetic Fight Night Entertainment operating out of Bellingham, Wa. They also have an equally original and pathetic fightwear line that features; What else?? Skulls and Bones and that is where the creativity stops, save for the fact of new and ever-expanding ways to literally and with pre-meditation, not pay thier performers. Below is the very latest proof that Mr. Riad Yooooooseff the "prez", did in fact issue this check for services. This check has pretty much gone viral on Face Book.

Now of course the response to this was that the "performer" did not meet his obligation but I'm really thinking; look at the pot calling the kettle black and when I inquired about the circumstances to to Yooooooseff, all I got back was "how broke I was"...hmmmm, curious isn't it for a guy that doesn't pay his bill and bounces checks repeatedly would respond to me as being broke...Ok, fine I admit it, I owe a 14.00 bar tab up there from 2 years ago.....which was his sole basis for me being "broke"....in fact, here is the email.

"Don't put me in the same category as your lubed ass. When you have money then talk your shit. Damn a guy that couldn't even pay his lousy $14 bar tab, what a joke. Keep living off other's big moves. I'll fix my mistakes always, what about yours. You are a wanna be with no real friends dude, not one person came or will ever bail your ass out of your mistakes. Bro, you need counseling & a good psychiatrist."

Now, I ask you? Does that sound like the conducting of business of someone, let alone the reported "President" of an MMA promotion, sound like he has all is wits and profession about him??

Look there is a plethora of this manner of verbage and communication as there is with thier practice of not paying. The commission is looking actively and evrytime I ask for the status, I get no response to an ongoing investigation.

Jens Pulver is one of their latest victims of being "shafted" for trusting them...going on, I promised the person on the other end of this latest debacle that I would not bring his name into it to further my cause. I have great admiratiion and respect for this person and I truly do wish him all the best but as I told him in a message. There are two sides to every story and I am out for the athlete and the other participants. This guy wants to lash back at people in the industry and question their integrity and truth.

What I am not understanding is: who does he think he is? He decided he just wanted to promote MMA fights 2 years ago and has since then experienced a decline in his venues, circles of business and knows absolutely nothing about matching or promoting. FNE does not promote off of tribal land anymore because of the Washington State Athletic Commissions inquiry and resistance to deal with them. The native CASINO they have is the only place that they can put on a show. My sources tell me that is not going to continue for much longer because of the casino seeking out another promotion.

FNE wants to attack me personally that's something I can respect if they can do it to me and look at me as well. I will address each and every attack that they are putting out there on a public forum. I have been in and around this sport for too long to let some nobody with a car lot come to my home town and destroy what the Pacific Northwest is known for as far as being a hot-bed for MMA. We are known for our professionalism, integrity, class and character and the only trait that FNE and Mr. Yooooooseff have demonstated is the "character" part and not in a complimentary way...

"The end result of my honoring my professional obligations and working in Seattle at Fight Night Entertainment, CageStar Fight Wear and turning down two other possible gigs the same night. Airfare also not reimbursed. Unfortunate how folks promise things and do not do what they say the have."

Craig- Go to the Athletic Commission in Washington then see if the local DA will handle bounced checks.

Dave-  Keep us posted Ron, I hate hearing sh*t like this and will put them on blast with the huge MMA networks that I am involved with. Its a small world and the MMA world is even smaller, lets hope they do the right thing. Zeus

Patricia- Sounds like to me FNE is a bunch of bums not paying and holding their obligation. I will pass on word to all of the fighters I know.

Patricia- Word around the fight community is other people have not been paid either, that sucks :(

Fred- Fight night Entertainment got off easy with a post on FB, back in Jersey you get a wrench to the knees for that shit. That's just how us "kids" roll though ....

That's really poetic that FNE wants to dare voice some drool about lack of talent and missed obligation... Ron gave them the benefit of the doubt once and has acted with dignity and class. FNE and their minions have a long history and pract...ice of not acting in good faith...the list is long and distinguished of athletes, management and business individuals they refuse to pay!! For lack of a better statement FNE is human waste and the hammer is dropping! I'll be standing there when it happens!!
