Scott Coker: Fedor Emelianenko's value would drop if he loses to Dan Henderson

"Fedor vs. Henderson fight is really two legends in the sport of MMA. Pound-for-pound, these two are really on the all-time list of greatest fighters, ever, in their respective weight classes. Fedor, anytime he fights, it's always an event. Same thing with Dan. You have two guys that are really legends. It's going to be a really special, special night.

I don't want to judge Fedor one way or the other, but I would say having three losses in a row would diminish the value tremendously." - for full interview, please visit MMAJunkie.com

Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker shared his thoughts about the fight between Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson, which will take place in two weeks time, n July 30, 2011 at Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. According to Coker, Fedor's value could significantly drop if he loses to Henderson, in what would be "The Last Emperor's" third consecutive defeat. However, Coker refused to say it's "do or die" for Fedor, who still has two fights left (and one optional) on his Strikeforce contract.

Fedor Emelianenko and Dan Henderson share 38 finishers in 58 career victories. Strikeforce Women's Welterweight (135 lb) Championship bout between Marloes Coenen and Miesha Tate will serve as the co-main event of the night.
