Former PRIDE Star Dennis Kang Falls At Road FC 3 Event

Once running an unbeaten streak of 23 fights, former PRIDE middleweight Grand Prix finalist Denis Kang (34-14-2, 2 NC) has run into some rough times of late. The former UFC fighter was in the cage this past weekend in Seoul, South Korea as part of the Road FC3: Explosion event against local middleweight Seung Bae Whi.
The video catches the action in the second round showing Kang, with one swollen eye shut, putting up some exciting action against Bae Whi. Unfortunately as both men swing for the fences, Kang gets caught in a North-South position and suffers his second straight loss after several knees to the head (knees to the head of a downed opponent are legal, oh the good ole days of PRIDE….)
Props to NightmareofBattle.com who posted the video and who notes that Road FC may be looking at hosting an 84 kg (middleweight) tournament next.
