'D-bag' Dominick Cruz chose Urijah Faber as his enemy ...

"I don't really have a lot of people I don't like but Dominick (Cruz) is just a guy that's rubbed me the wrong way. You know, I've fought him before and he was a little bit disrespectful and he's done some things that were out by the cage that were disrespectful. And then he acts like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. ... Just being immature and just kind of a d-bag, for lack of a better word. ... But the bottom line is, he's someone that I'm going to have to fight and I feel like he's chose me as an enemy in a couple of different ways and I accepted. You know, you don't have to be nice to everybody and I'm a guy that, for the most part, has a reputation for being friends with everyone and he's just one guy I'm not friends with."

Current UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz has had an extremely successful run over the past five years. In 18 fights, he's lost just once -- a featherweight title fight in his WEC debut against none other than Urijah Faber. And ever since that night, both guys have more or less hated each other. We know this because they've both refused to be shy or bite their tongue when asked about their feelings of one another. "Mr. California Love" himself is the latest to fire the guns, calling "The Dominator" an immature d-bag. There was a time when a rematch between the two could only happen in fans collective imaginations due to Cruz leaving the 145-pound weight class but Urijah has since launched a full scale invasion on the bantamweight division. Now the natives are restless and ready for the rematch. There's just one problem. Faber has a fight booked against the very first 135-pound WEC champion, Eddie Wineland, at UFC 128 on March 19 in New Jersey. And the New Breed product is no pushover, winning "Knockout of the Night" in his last two fights. Is he primed to play spoiler to the bantamweight title fight so many are waiting to see? Or is Faber vs. Cruz part deux simply destined to happen?
