In the main event the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series middleweight title is on the line and CageStars veteran Jose Martinez has his eye on the championship belt. Standing in his way is Darnell Hicks, a highly skilled MMA fighter out of Troy, Ohio. In the Co-main event Mike Maderitz will face Cy Stephens for the Cage Stars Amateur Elite Series lightweight title.
Jose Martinez (4-2-0) is a well-rounded mixed martial artist who trains out of Elyria, Ohio. Prior to his transition into MMA, Martinez claimed two regional boxing championship titles in the Junior Olympics and garnered National attention during his wrestling career at Southview High.
His opponent Darnell Hicks (5-4-0) is a self-taught mixed martial artist known for his aggressive fight style. Hick's possesses raw talent and has never been knocked out in the cage. Martinez plans to add a KO loss to Hicks record on Saturday night. This promises to be an explosive fight from start to finish!
