Epic Fighting 13
Fri Jul 13 10:00PM ET
“Epic Fighting 13″ returns on the GFL Combat Sports Network on July 13 at the Four Points Sheraton in San Diego, California. For their latest card, Epic Fighting has collected some of the deepest local talent in the country to provide the fans of SoCal and worldwide watching live on the Internet, a great night of action packed amateur fights.
In the main event, Francisco “Panchito” Castro (5-5) fights David Lee (2-0) in a featherweight shootout. This is a rematch of “Epic Fighting 12″ where Lee was the winner by split decision. The fans demanded it and now Castro VS Lee 2 is going to happen. Castro relied on his wrestling in the first fight to score on takedowns, but Lee put up a solid defense and nullified Castro’s attacks from the mat. It was a close fight going into the third and final round where both fighters unleashed their full arsenal as Lee and Castro both threw kicks and punches, knowing the decision still hung in the balance. Lee probably sealed the deal with a takedown of his own here as both men landed hard, meaningful shots earlier in the round. Castro feels there is unfinished business as he believes he won two rounds in the first bout and Lee believes this is just another opportunity to make a statement by winning in more dominant fashion. Either way, both Castro and Lee will come out guns blazing and do everything in their power to not leave it in the hands of the judges this time.
In the co-main event, Kyle Kleinschmidt (5-1) battles Chris Lloyd (5-1-0-1) in a middleweight throwdown. Kleinschmidt is on a 2-fight win streak and is a strong wrestler who can grind his opponents down and overcome them with superior cardio as the fight gets to the later rounds. Lloyd is also on a 2-fight win streak and is a very proficient grappler who can also mix it up with his fists. This bout promises to be a show-stealer as Kleinschmidt and Lloyd always come to fight and their styles have made them fan favorites.
You won’t find more BANG for your buck so order this thrilling event. Watch the stars of tomorrow compete today. Be sure to catch all of the action LIVE on July 13 as Epic Fighting presents “Epic Fighting 13″ on pay-per-view exclusively at GFL.tv.
NAAFS – Combat Challenge 21
Sat Jul 14 7:30PM ET

The North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS) returns to GFL.tv with “Combat Challenge 21″ at Chapparells Community Center in Akron, Ohio on July 14. NAAFS is one of the most prolific MMA organizations in the country as it runs a monthly event in and around the Ohio area. The 17-bout card features many of the rising stars in the Midwest region and looks to create new stars for the future.
In a main event, Dustin Wolf (3-0) from Strong Style Fight Team takes on Ryan Evans (3-0) from Independent Crew in a welterweight shootout. Wolf is a submission specialist who has two wins via tapout and loves to take the fight to the mat. He will be looking for a takedown in the fight to get Evans right where he wants him. For Evans, he comes into the fight also undefeated but has two of his wins via KO or TKO. Evans likes to land strikes and incapicatate his opponents on their feet, so Evans will be throwing punches with bad intentions when the two prospects step into the cage.
In other action, Dave Graff (4-4) from Brickhouse MMA fights Luke Burdette (3-4) from Renzo Gracie Pittsburgh in a featherweight clash. Graff is coming off a hard fought win in his last fight and the always durable veteran employs a high risk-high reward fighting style that always seems to win fight of the night. Burdette was also victorious in his last bout and is a tough competitor to beat as he has only lost by decision. Burdette has strengthened his cardio and will be ready to push the pace for three rounds if need be in this exciting 145 lb throwdown.
“Combat Challenge 21″ will no doubt be an explosive card so it’s a must see for any MMA fan. Be sure to catch all of the action from this event live on July 14 exclusively at GFL.tv.
Absolute Action MMA 27
Sat Jul 14 8:00PM ET

Kentucky’s #1 MMA promotion returns as Absolute Action presents “AAMMA 27″ emanating from the Drawbridge Inn in Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky on July 14. MMA fans, this pro/am card is stacked with the top up and combing prospects inside Northern Kentucky and the greater Cincinnati area. AAMMA is the premier MMA organization in the Bluegrass State and one of the Southeast region’s top cage-fighting promotion’s. “AAMMA 27″ has 19 bouts scheduled and two title fights. You always get competitive, quality MMA with Absolute Action MMA.
In one title fight for the AAMMA Amateur Lightweight Championship, Brittany Skelton (6-3) fights Reggie Merriweather (10-7). Skelton is the defending champion and is on a 3-fight win streak and the fight with Merriweather will be his second time defending his belt. Merriweather comes into the bout also on a 2-fight win streak of his own, and has also held a championship in another organization so he has title fight experience. Both fighters are two of Ohio’s best lightweight amateurs and have been on a collision course for years and finally they will step into the cage and decide with their fists who is the better man.
In the second title fight for the AAMMA Amateur Welterweight Title, James Fehring (5-0) takes on Joshua Adkins (6-1). Fehring is the defending champion who is undefeated and never went the distance and only went to round two one time in his career. Fehring will probably be looking at turning pro soon, so this could be one of his last fights as an amateur. Fehring is a quick started and possesses great strikes and submissions. Adkins is a grappling expert who has 5 wins via tapout and this fight shapes up to be a battle of great proportions as both Fehring and Adkins look to have a bright future in the sport and getting them to match up against one another this early in their careers is a real treat for fight fans.
