Martinez vs. Young and Camoes vs. Denny Added to TPF 11 Fight Card

Tachi Palace Fights added two more bouts to TPF 11: Redemption, which takes place on Dec. 2 at the Tachi Palace in Lemoore, Calif.
Poppies Martinez squares off with Savant Young, while Fabricio Camoes faces Thomas “Wildman” Denny, according to Tachi’s Jeremy Luchau. Both bouts will be contested at lightweight.
Martinez (18-7) has fought the majority of his professional career at the Tachi Palace, whether it was under the WEC banner, for Palace Fighting, or now with TPF. He enters the bout coming off of a loss to UFC veteran David Mitchell.
His opponent, Young (9-8), is also a WEC veteran from the Tachi Palace days of the promotion. Young will actually be making his comeback at TPF 11. He’s been out of action since a loss to Mark Hominick at Affliction: Banned in July of 2008.
Camoes (13-6-1) has been on a tear over the past couple of years, going 9-1-1 in his last 11 bouts. Unfortunately, the Brazilian’s stumble came during his shot in the Octagon. After going 0-1-1 in the UFC, TPF picked up Camoes where he has gone 2-0, including a victory over The Ultimate Fighter season 8 winner Efrain Escudero.
Denny (27-19-1) is a journeyman fighter that has been competing professionally for more than a decade. He’s never received a shot in the UFC, but Denny is nicknamed “Wildman” for a reason. He may be a journeyman, but he’s a fighter with an exciting, attacking style that, win or lose, is entertaining to watch.
Known for its exciting lighter weight roster, Tachi has loaded up TPF 11 with title fights in its flyweight, bantamweight, and featherweight divisions.
