All Female Fight Card to Fight Strong for the Cure at FCF 49

By Lacey Neher

October 1st Freestyle Cage Fighting will have an all female Fight card in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Proceeds will help fund mammograms for women who qualify, but can't afford them, through Oklahoma's Take Charge! program. Fight Strong for the Cure will be held at the Firelake Casino in Shawnee Oklahoma. The main event will be contested between MMA Vets, Kaitlin Young and Liz Carriero.

Both Ladies are hungry for a win and are both coming off of some recent losses with losing records at the moment. Young is favored with a strong Muay Thai style that has knocked out the likes of Strikeforce Champ, Miesha Tate. (I'm sure you've seen it on a WMMA HL reel somewhere.) Kaitlyn also is one of the un-announced and un-official winners of the never seen Ultimate Women Challenge reality show.

Jan Finney is was to face Young but, she had to back out at the last minute. Liz Carriero (5-7) will now fight Young.

The Fights won't be streamed live but they will be shown on the FCF website at a later date.
