‘Inside MMA’ Tackles Steroids & Judging On This Weeks Episode

Kenny and Bas tackle two of the hottest topics in mixed martial arts – steroids and judging – with an all-star panel featuring UFC Welterweight Dennis Hallman, HDNet’s own Frank Trigg, and Strikeforce™ Light Heavyweight Ovince St. Preux.
Nate Marquardt’s controversial dismissal from the UFC due testosterone replacement therapy has put the issue of performance enhancing drugs back at the forefront of the MMA world.
Hallman helped ignite the controversy last year on “Inside MMA” when he said that over 50% of fighters use steroids. He subsequently recanted that account in a post-fight interview. On Friday, Hallman shares his current opinion, and our panel engages in a heated discussion about PEDs in MMA.
Judging has also been a near constant topic of conversation in the sport in recent years and another recent string of debated decisions has only served to further stir the pot. Our panel shares their thoughts on what can be done to fix the problem.
Plus, the panelists share their thoughts on some upcoming fights and “Inside MMA” takes a special look at the unique personality of Matt Horwich as he gets set to fight Jake Rosholt in the main event of “HDNet Fights: Shark Fights 17” next Friday on HDNet.
Also, don’t miss “HDNet Fights: It’s Showtime 2011 – Spain” immediately following “Inside MMA” at 10:00 p.m. ET.
