Fight For Wrestling MMA Event to Benefit Cal State Bakersfield Wrestling Program



Fight For Wresting 3 “Back In Bakersfield” has announced the full fight card for Friday’s charity MMA event on the campus of California State University Bakersfield in the Icardo Center Arena.
The main event features Brian Cobb (17-6) vs. Rad Martinez with a record of 9-1. Also on the card is Brock Jardine (6-1), coming off a submission victory in Showdown Fights. Jardine takes on Kenny Ento (11-5). John Devin, a heavyweight MMA fighter and CSUB wrestling alum faces Mike Cook.
Also on the card is Damasso Pereira, who is coming off a win from a previous Fight For Wrestling event on Aug. 14. Dammasso trains under the tutelage of Anderson Silva, fighting under the prestigious Blackhouse Banner. Lance Palmer will take on Emilio Gonzales. Lance was a NCAA finalist who signed to Urijah Faber’s Team Alpha Male.

Chad Mendes, Urijah Faber, and Court Mcgee will be in attendance to support the cause. The full fight card is as follows:

-Mike Christensen vs. Eddie Hoch
-Doug Hunt vs. John Corstorphine

-Emilio Gonzales vs. Lance Palmer


Tickets are available at http://fightforwrestling.vbotickets.com/, priced from $25.00 for general admission bleacher seating up to $150.00 for VIP Ringside tickets. 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the CSUB Wrestling program. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the fights start at 6 p.m.
