(London, 08.04.11) As Britain's number 1. bad boy Knock Out artist prepares to face Nick Diaz tomorrow night, his fans and fellow countrymen in the UK wish him luck in being crowned the first Brit to wear the Championship belt.
Tomorrow night, MMA fight fans around the world will be treated to a USA vs UK Super Fight 'Diaz vs Daley.' The two 'BadBoy Brawlers of MMA' are set to battle it out for the Strikeforce Welterweight Championship belt at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California in one of the worlds most anticipated fights.
Pride of Britain Paul Daley (27-9-2) will be taking on Nick Diaz (24-7-0), who will be making his third defence of the Strikeforce title. This is the fight that the fans have been waiting for, where one punch can make all the difference - and make history.
Daley said: 'This title shot has been a long time coming. This is the moment I've dreamt off since I first got in to MMA. The years of dedication, hard work and sacrifices will all be worth it when my arm is raised tomorrow.'
Diaz has said: 'Daley has great stand-up but he likes to talk a lot of (expletive) and I'm not really impressed with him as a mixed martial artist. We'll see how it goes and see how he does on April 9. Let's see if he can walk the walk. I seriously doubt it.'
