UFC Fight Night 24 salaries: Nogueira's $90K leads $537K payroll
Despite suffering a loss in the main event, veteran light heavyweight Antonio Rogerio Nogueira received the biggest disclosed payday at UFC Fight Night 24.
MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) today requested and received the list of paydays from the Washington State Department of Licensing.
The total disclosed payroll for the March 26 event was $537,000, and Nogueira earned $90,000 of it.
The event took place at Seattle's KeyArena. The main card aired on Spike TV, and five preliminary-card fights streamed for free on Facebook.
In addition to Nogueira, other top earners included Johny Hendricks ($44,000), Anthony Johnson ($40,000), Amir Sadollah ($40,000) and Phil Davis ($34,000).

Now, the usual disclaimer: The figures do not include deductions foritems such as insurance, licenses and taxes. Additionally, the figuresdo not include money paid by sponsors, which can oftentimes be asubstantial portion of a fighter's income. They also do not include anyother "locker room" or special bonuses the UFC oftentimes pays.They also do not include portions of the pay-per-view revenue that some top-level fighters receive.
For example, as previously reported,UFC officials handed out additional $55,000 UFC Fight Night 24 bonuses to Hendricks (KO of the Night), Jung(Submission of the Night), and McDonald and Figueroa (Fight of the Night).
In other words, the above figures are simply base salaries reported tothe commission and do not reflect entire compensation packages for theevent.
