Bisping Says He’s A Good Guy “99.9 Percent Of The Time”

Bisping vs Rivera UFC 127
UFC middleweight Michael “The Count” Bisping (21-3) is still in the dog house for his actions at UFC 128 in Australia.
After a trash talking campaign directed at him by his opponent Jorge Rivera and his cornermen, Bisping let all of his frustrations fly in the fight. The Brit landed an unintentional knee in the first round, that appeared to effect Rivera’s performance for the rest of the fight.
Bisping would end the fight in the second by TKO, continuing with a verbal assault on Rivera and his corner, going so far as to spit in their direction.
“The Count” apologized for his actions that night, and is still apologizing today.
As a guest on The MMA Hour at MMAFighting.com, Bisping regrets his actions and says “99.9 percent of the time” that he’s a good guy.
“I made a mistake. t happens all the time…in hindsight, I wish I handled it completely different. I let myself down, I let the UFC down, I let the fans down. I would like to apologize again for that. Of course, I regret that massively. Words can’t describe how much I regret doing that. I let myself get dragged into it, and I should’ve been bigger than that.”
“Look, 99.9 percent of the time I’m a good guy.I treat the people closest to me with respect, I’m a loving father and husband. As I said, 99.9 percent of the time, I’m a good guy, but now and again, my guard falls down. When you’re in a battle fighting, the adrenaline is flowing like crazy. Some people are different. But like I said, I apologize, and I mean it.”
In the interview Bisping was asked who he’d like to fight next, after being called out by both Nate Marquardt and Chael Sonnen. Hit the link above to find out which fighter his management has officially asked for.
