Here's what happened at the Strikeforce Challengers weigh-in:
It was suprisingly laid back and very comfortable, organized and went without so much as a hitch. The Strikeforce staff was grabbing some much deserved down time coming straight from New Jersey from the heavy-weight GP that would define them as a force in the future to reckon with.
The local media came in force with their interests lying, primariliy with Lyle "Fancy Pants" Beerbohm and Ryan Couture.
All in all when Beerbohm and Healy faced off Healy tried to get under "Fancy Pants" with a declaration; " You're going down bro' and I'm going to be standing over you to see it", Beerbohm simply replied, " It isn't going to happen."
That was about all the drama that took place of note. There were in attendance; Josh "The Punk" Thompsen, Matt "The Law" Lindland, "Crazy" Bob Cook and Kamal Shalorious...
It looks to be as a card, one that will determine the mettle of both Beerbohm going against Healy and Couture against Higgins.
Healy is a an athlete that has been in the game a very long time and his style is sure to test Beerbohm in the stand up arena.
Higgins has been very vocal about his lack of concern in facing Couture and feels that he is the better athlete all the way around...
