Nick Diaz is not impressed with Paul Daley and Tyron Woodley

Five Conclusions from Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg
Strikeforce Welterweight Champion Nick Diaz defended his title for the second time, this time defeating Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos via a perfectly-executed armbar, just seconds before the end of Round 2. As the list of possible opponents gets shorter and shorter, Diaz will now face either the young prospect Tyron Woodley or the hard-hitting Paul "Semtex" Daley in his next encounter. Here's what he said about the possible match-ups (full interview at MMAJunkie.com):

Tyron Woodley

"I don't want to talk bad about anybody," Diaz said. "I don't have anything about him that impresses me. I don't know much about him. I hear he's a wrestler. So now that I hear he's a wrestler, it's whatever. "I'm sure he's got a lot of potential. Anybody that makes it in here to fight in Strikeforce has got a lot of potential. That's the best thing I'm going to be able to say about anybody wanting to fight me."

Paul Daley

"I see me putting punches on him, and maybe him taking me down, too, and getting caught in a choke," Diaz said. "He could run from me, and I could run him down, take him down, and beat him on the ground. I don't know. I could see that fight going a lot of different ways. I'm not really impressed with Paul Daley as a mixed martial artist. "I'm sure he knows what's going to happen if he steps in there to fight me. All they can really do is try to down-talk me and minimize what I've done in the past and what I might do to them."

Nick Diaz is currently 24-7 in his MMA career, enjoying a 9-fight winning streak. Diaz currently trains at Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, alongside Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez and his brother Nate Diaz.
