Dominick Cruz Undergoes Surgery To Left Hand

UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz posted this picture of his left hand after undergoing surgery to repair an injury that has been nagging him since before his fight with Joseph Benavidez last summer at WEC 50.
Cruz posted the picture on Twitter noting that the photo was taken 15 hours after surgery and that he was on the same pain medications that former pop star Michael Jackson had been on when he died.

No word on when he’ll return to training or who his first UFC title defense might be against. It’s very likely Cruz will meet the winner of the UFC 128 bout between Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland.
