Anderson Silva is going to be assistant coach on TUF 13

 

Dominant middleweight champion Anderson Silva has once again been invited to be one of the coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.

Silva coached Team Nogueira when “Minotauro” and Frank Mir were the head trainers of the reality show on the eighth season.

Now Anderson was invited by Brazilian team mate Junior dos Santos, who headlines the program with former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. The “Spider” confirmed the invitation to ESPN UK.

“I love to train with other fighters and would be a honour. The fighters will be better after the trainings with Cigano’s team,” he said.

The season will be the thirteenth of the hit series. Recently it was announced that the elimination round is being done away with for TUF 13 and the season will commence with a cast of 14 fighters.

Meanwhile, Anderson Silva prepares for UFC 126 on Feb 5th when he defends the belt versus countryman Vitor Belfort.
