Brian Bowles Returns Against Damacio Page at UFC on Versus 3

Brian Bowles will look to finally return to action in a rematch against Damacio Page in a bout slotted for the UFC on Versus card scheduled for March 3.
The fight was confirmed to MMAWeekly.com by sources close to the match-up on Monday, with the fighters verbally accepting the contest, but no bout agreements having been issued yet. The fight was initially reported by MMAJunkie.com.
It’s been a rough 12 months for former WEC bantamweight champion Brian Bowles (8-1). After suffering an injury and losing his title to Dominick Cruz in March 2010, the Georgia based fighter had to endure another set back when he was coming back just a few months ago.
Originally set to come back at WEC 52 to face Wagnney Fabiano, Bowles suffered a broken foot in training that pushed him out of that fight. Now he will return almost a year to the day that he last fought.
Looking to give Bowles a rude welcome back will be Greg Jackson trained fighter Damacio Page (15-5) who will also be looking for a certain level of revenge in March. Page has met Bowles before and while he had a strong performance early on, he was caught in a guillotine choke that ended the fight in the first round.
Page will also be bouncing back from a loss in his last fight in which he was submitted by Demetrious Johnson in November.
The bantamweights will do battle on the March 3 card currently rumored to take place in Louisville, KY, although the UFC has yet to officially announce the venue for the card
