A syringe and Neosporin is pretty much all Mike Swick needs to drain his cauliflower ear, and he can joke around in the process.
In preparation for his upcoming UFC 105 fight against Dan Hardy on Nov. 21, Swick has been filming video blogs for his fans. In this installment, Swick slightly alters his appearance by making his ear smaller, removing the liquid in his ear (causing "cauliflower ears") that comes with the territory of fighting.
While he admits that the process is somewhat painful, Swick said that he usually drains his ears three to four times a day in order to get his ears to the desired size.
